Air Jordan 1 KO: Premium Pack

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

The Air Jordan 1 KO is a shoe that hasn’t been on shelves since 1985 until recently.  Jordan is going to release an all new style of the model later this month!

Instead of the traditional canvas upper, they’ve integrated a premium leather material in it’s place.  The shoe will come in three colorways — black, light graphite and dark cinder.  The graphite and cinder models will have a tonal upper with a white midsole, but the black colorway will be completely blacked out.

Look for them drop at Jordan retailers on November 12th!

Nike Blazer Suede VNTG QS: Multi-Color Pack

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

40 years after the first Nike Blazer was released, the shoe is still going strong.  Although the Blazers are for the streets now, rather thn the basketball court, these are still some of the freshest Nikes you can get these days!

The Blazers in this Multi-Color Pack are vintage inspired, but executed in a new school way.   The uppers are made from multi-colored suede material that pay homage to vintage Blazer colorways and of course, they’ve got the classic rubber sole.

Both models will be releasing on Saturday, October 29th and mita sneakers are taking pre-orders right now.

Nike LeBron 9: The Scarface

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

If I was as cynical as some, I could make the claim that this is the perfect theme for a shoe.  The most overrated NBA player of our time designs his shoe after the most overrated movie of our time.   I could go that route because really once you’ve seen a gangster movie, you’ve seen them all.  I could go that route because LeBron is 7 years into his career with no rings and limited clutch performances. Why is the urban culture so attracted to Scarface?  His progressively gets worse until he dies, and we idolize that?  Before I continue to piss off readers that adore LeBron and/or think Scarface is a classic motion picture, let me get to the point:  the shoes.

The shoes are dope!  Bet you didn’t expect me to say that after I just ripped LBJ and Scarface like that, did ya?  Well, I said I wasn’t going to go that route.

I really do like these.  The black/white/red/silver is always a perfect combo. This shoe just works for me.  I could hoop in this or I could rock them to an event where I want to look fly.  They have that kind of versatility that a lot of basketball shoes, especially LeBrons, don’t have.   In case you haven’t noticed, the shoes match the movie poster nicely and also go along with the fact that LeBron is in Miami now, just like Tony Montana was in Scarface.

Pick these up at Marquee Sole because, as usual, they got them first!

Adidas Crazy 8: Kobe Bryant 1998 NBA All-Star Game

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

Believe it or not, this is the first time these shoes have ever been re-released.  These are the Adidas Crazy 8’s that Kobe Bryant wore in the 1998 All-Star game.  What makes them so special?  The 1998 All-Star game was Kobe Bryant’s first All-Star selection and in that game he guarded his idol, Michael Jordan.  Kobe was only 19, making him the youngest NBA All-Star in the league’s history.

These are dope.  They have a classic black and white colorway with traditional Lakers colors and details throughout the shoe.  You can get these here for a pretty affordable 100 bucks!

Air Jordan: 8.0 (White/Red/Silver)

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

Jordan brand has another release on deck this year, this time in the form of the Jordan 8.0.  This design is kind of a mixture of the past and present, plus maybe even a little bit of the future as well.  These hybrids are a revamped version of the classic Jordan VIII, and they look great!

The original VIII’s were pretty bulky, so the 8.0′s have incorporated the popular Flywire technology to cut down on the weight of the shoe.  You can easily spot a lot of the differences and similarities of the VIII and 8.0’s and although nothing will ever beat the original, these are still dope!

Rumor has it that these are already on sale in Germany and, of course, will be arriving in the USA at a later date.
