This slideshow requires JavaScript.

You might remember our first post about WE WOOD, but since then the brand has grown so much and mastered their craft even more.  The watches above are a part of their latest collection.  As you know, the majority of the watches are made from 100% natural wood, including the case, band and face.  The two watches are the Chrono and the Date watch, which are my two current favorites from WE WOOD.

These should be available now at all WE WOOD suppliers as well as their website.  Check it out asap!

Nixon: The 51-30 Chrono Tortoise

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

Nixon’s latest release does not disappoint.  Nor do they ever.

This is the latest watch to drop from the Nixon Fall 2011 collection.  It is a new, revamped version of their classic 51-30 watch.  The new watch features tortoise materials, Matte black exterior and gloss black numbering on the dials.

The tortoise and black combo gives it great contrast and makes the watch look very sleek.  All Nixon carriers will have this and all other releases later this Fall.

Introducing: pARlaiTin Wire Sculptures

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

I’m a huge fan of unique art… Check out this great display of creativity & talent.

One day last week, I received a  random Twitter mention for @pARlaiTin with a comment that says “Check out our sneakers made of wire!”  So, as most people would… I checked out the link attached.  After opening that link, I discovered one of the most unique art forms still alive today, wire sculptures.  Quality wire sculptures, might I add.

pARlaiTin is the company.  Curtis Anthony is the man behind the wires.  He does more than just wire sneakers, I just chose to display them because they are my favorite.  You can check out his work here to see his complete collection of hand made sculptures.

If you like one, buy one!  I plan on doing so in the near future.

Introducing: DeadHeart

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

Simplicity is often most effective.  Perfect example right here, DeadHeart.

I have to thank my girl Tiara Thomas for putting me on to DeadHeart a few weeks ago via Twitter.  DeadHeart is an accessory company based of out Brooklyn that specializes in using leather to create great additions to any outfit.  The word is spreading fast and as you can see, some celebrities are already getting their hands on these great pieces.  Check out MMG’s Stalley rocking one above.

The design is exactly what you’d think it was.  A dead heart.  A handcrafted, leather diamond themed heart, with two X’s for eyes and a pin on the back.  Anytime you feel you’re missing something in your outfit, this could be the perfect addition to your cardigan, jacket, t shirt, or wherever else you’d like to pin it.

Make you you check them out as they make progress and come up with more innovative, dope accessories!

Have at it: http://www.deadheartnyc.com/

CRAP Eyewear

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

CRAP Eyewear is the dopest set of frames you can get yourself at an affordable price.  Hands Down.

First off, I must shoutout my brother Jourdan Ivory, who tipped me off about how dope CRAP is.  He put me on to these frames last night and I blogged about them in record time.

You may have never heard of the brand name, but I bet you have seen them before.  These shades are very popular for being worn by Mr. Weezy F Baby himself, and were even featured on his last album cover.

CRAP comes in 5 different styles, The Nudie Mag (featured in slideshow), The Beach Party, The Human Fly, The Juan Jovi and The Lo Max.  Before I move on, let me just say that the product style names already have the customer hooked before you even see them.  Then you see the shades and it’s a done deal.  Each style comes in so many different colorways ranging from: Black, White and Tortoise frames and Gradient, Blue, Gloss, Amber, Mirror and Black lenses!  Plus some that I probably forgot!

The UV protection is great, the hinges are very reliable, the frames are sturdy and last but not least… They are only $54 a pair.  If you can’t spare $54 for a fresh pair of everyday shades, then you’ve come to the wrong site my friend.

But really… Check out more styles here.

Supreme: The Alton Sunglasses

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

Supreme gives us a dose of dopeness right as Summer begins!

These shades are handcrafted in Italy, which is always promising.  The frame of these glasses are similar to the traditional Wayfarer, but slightly flare around hinges. The lens aren’t plastic.  Not even acrylic.  They are made of anti-reflective glass, by Barberini. This gives them a great amount of protection against UV rays as well as optical clarity. They come in a jet black, checker and tortoise pattern which makes them unisex, stylish and very versatile.

Grab a pair…or 3 today.  They are available at all Supreme suppliers.

G-Shock x Jordan Collection

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

G-Shock teamed up with MJ for this very exclusive release.

I used to be a huge fan of G-Shock watches a few years back, but then the obsession just kind of faded.  Since I gained interested in other styles of watches, I’ve still kept my eye on the progress that Casio has been making with the new styles of G-Shocks.  Only a few of their newer designs are drastically different than previous models, so none of them really catch my eye.  BUT, with this collection… they caught my eye immediately.  They’ve been collaborating with a lot of different designers and clothing lines lately, but Jordan brand is easily the biggest, most successful, and most recognizable collaboration.

This collection features 3 different models of G-Shocks in 3 brand new colors.  There is a DW6900CB-2 in baby blue, which represents MJ’s college days as a Tar Heel.  Next, there is the black GD100B-1 and the DW6900CB-4 in varsity red to represent his NBA career with the Chicago Bulls.

You want specs?  I got specs:

– Water Resistant – Up To 20 atmospheric Bars (200 meters)
– 1/100 seconds Stopwatch Function
– Full Automatic Calendar
– EL Backlight
– Multiple Alarm Settings
– 12/24 Hour Formats

I really like the models that G-Shock used in this collection, the colors are fresh as hell, and the theme of the collection is great.  These watches went on release a few days ago and are available in limited quantity in Footaction retails stores across the country!
